Walking Wisdom with Manu

Often when people adopt an animal, they want to give it as much love as possible, sometimes too much love. We forget that four-legged creatures communicate in different ways. When a new animal companion comes into our homes we want them to learn how to communicate with us, according to our interpretation of what is respectful, loving or good behaviour. We don’t recognize their fears or boundaries, and this can cause stress and a lack of trust.

This misunderstanding in communication can lead to behavioural problems.

I’m sharing a recording below on how I understand and communicate with our animal companions; this modality of animal communication is the way that I and many others have found that makes training effective and builds a strong, trusting relationship.
