Dogs in Service

So many people ask me how I integrate working with dogs, students and teachers. So, while hiking in the Okanagan, I decided to explain how Dogs in Service can help students with behavioural issues and bring harmony to the classroom.

Dogs in Service helps students who are struggling with ADD and ADHD and the success has been phenomenal.

Students have responded incredibly well, and teachers have noticed the results and supported this unconventional approach to engaging youth and helping them develop their own emotional intelligence.

The entire experience has been humbling for me. I’m deeply honoured to be able to help our youth overcome their difficulties. And, I’m so pleased that the teachers who have invited me into their classroom have seen the positive, tangible results, because the success of this practice may help other teens who are struggling to get through school.
